We are so excited to share with you that The Foundation will be hosting it’s 6th Annual Courageously Living Event in person and virtually this year.
We would be honored if you would join us on October 7, 2023 at the HJC Bowden Multipurpose Center, or join us from the comfort of your own home virtually as we stream live on our Face Book page, You Tube Channel, or our Website.

This year’s the Courageously Living Event will be raising awareness, educating, and dispelling any rumors about the transplant process. We will have a panel consisting of professionals that will introduce their role in the transplant process and answer questions that pertain to that role.

Please join us In person or streaming live as we make history around advancing research for Auto Immune Hepatitis, and provide scholarships to students facing medical challenges.

The Courageously Nicole Foundation mission is to raise awareness and assist with advancing the research for Auto Immune Hepatitis.

Together with Emory University the Courageously Nicole Foundation Inc. will be at the fore front of the research efforts toward Auto Immune Hepatitis in Children.

We are committed to supporting children and families as they navigate their journey with this medical challenge and empower them with support, resources and most of all hope

Courageously Nicole
Foundation

Nicole, affectionately known as “Nikki” was diagnosed at the age of three with a rare liver disease known as Auto Immune Hepatitis. Despite undergoing four liver transplants in a seven year span, Nikki Managed to graduate from high school on time as well as attain her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Spelman College.

Weeks before her passing, Nikki asked her mother to create a scholarship fund to offer financial support to those who are facing medical adversities and need assistance to achieve their goal of higher education.
