Furthermore, illness never defined Nicole, she was so busy living. Her determined personality, strong work and faith in God helped her to accomplish far more than anyone ever expected.
Meet Nicole Nikki Thornton.
Nicole, affectionately known as “Nikki” was diagnosed at the age of three with a rare liver diease known as Auto Immune Hepatitis. Despite undergoing four liver transplants in a seven year span, Nikki Managed to graduate from high school on thime as well as attain her bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Anthropology from Spelman College. In fact, she was so determined to graduate from Spelman, she received her physical her physical diploma on the same day she passed.
